Because of the Hollands “Cuteness,” small size and wonderful disposition, we have a tremendous demand for our six to twelve week old babies. Note: We love working with those new to the New Zealand business and helping you get a great start. In fact, although only a 4-H project, my guess is that we would be one of the breed leaders for assisting new operations get started in the Midwest over the past three years. One of the reasons for this success is that my Dad likes working with our New Zealand customers. This is both good for me and my customers. For them he is very caring and knowledgeable and for me … he works cheap!

Marketing

In our marketing program, we have three specific areas of concentration for 2009:

Pet Market. As we speak we have an order for a Black and white rabbit. We know that some people have special requests that cannot be filled by pet stores. We only ask that you give us special requests in advance of timeline for purchase. Please also understand that the reason for a direct purchase is not a bargain rabbit. Hollands are not easy to breed, and whether or not you want a rabbit for pet or show, Cedar Hollow wants to sell you a Good Lookin’ rabbit!
Show Prospects are available. Ideally you can come and sort through the litters at 6 weeks to see for yourself but we do sell some sight unseen with a satisfaction purchase guarantee.
Mature brood doe matrons. Quite frankly we do not have enough space to bring in our young replacement stock without “rotating” deeply within our herd. If you want a bargain, give us some time to present you with a super opportunity.

We have already sold rabbits into Kansas, Missouri, Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Iowa and Texas during our four years in business, which is pretty remarkable.
